Here at JandJ Alpacas, we offer a number of alpaca experiences for all age groups. Our experiences range from meeting and greeting the alpacas to trekking, ensuring we have an option for everyone, whatever their age or ability!
Alpaca Experiences
We want to provide everyone with a different option when it comes to finding fun activities to do. Whether you are locally based, visiting the area or just visiting to see our alpacas, you should always look to take part in our alpaca experiences. You can limit yourself to seeing and meeting the alpacas or have a more involved option. We help you make the right choice.
Meet & Greet Experience
Come and meet our gorgeous alpacas! On our walk and talk you will have the chance to get up close to our alpacas and watch them in their paddocks. A 20 minute experience suited for all ages, where you are taken into the fields to meet the alpacas, feed them using our colourful scoops, and of course take lots of photos!
This experience is £5 per person, an under 10 is  FREE with a paying adult. You can purchase gift vouchers for a friend or book the alpaca chat at a suitable date and time for you.
Alpaca Trekking
Anunforgettable experience is our alpaca trekking. This allows you to walk with our beautiful alpacas through our small woodland and past our ponds. This is again within an hour long farm experience, with our trained guides able to answer any questions during the walk. An enjoyable walk allows you to bond with your individual alpaca, feed and take plenty of pictures.

Group Visits
WI, Young Farmers, Brownies or just a group to share a special occasion.
We offer group visits on Monday’s, Tuesday’s (when we are closed to the public) or in an evening. A unique and educational outing, learning about alpacas and the chance to get up close, feel their wool and feed them. Summer visits will include meeting our new cria (babies)!

Parties
An unforgettable experience shared with your friends & family on your special day! Our gorgeous alpacas would love to part of your celebrations. Start your party with meeting our herd of over 90 alpacas, get up close, hand feed and of course, take a selfie! After your experience, enjoy of delicious mini Afternoon Tea in our Alpaca Centre.
Weddings
Alpacas are an incredible addition to any wedding. This gives all your guests a fantastic chance to see the alpacas, interact and get a photo. We can match our alpacas to any wedding colour schemes, being available for up to 2 hours and up to 4 alpacas.
